Pre-order Cameron’s debut poetry collection, In the Night Field, from Augury Books!!

My peoples, hi!

I miss your faces, and I hope you’re staying safe, healthy, and well. I couldn’t be more excited to share that my debut poetry collection, In the Night Field, is now available for pre-order from Augury Books, an imprint of Brooklyn Arts Press! The book’s official publication date is June 1, 2021.

Because I love you, and the good folks at Augury Books were kind enough to do it, you can Pre-Order the book HERE at a special discount through February 21st. Thanks for sharing the pre-order link with your peoples!

I began sending out this manuscript for publication in 2018 after finishing my MFA at the University of Idaho. About a year ago, in the early days of Covid, as I was making what ended up being the strangest cross-country drive (and I’ve done quite a few) from Idaho to Chicago, I got word that the book had been accepted for publication. I was at a Conoco in Wyoming. For those of you who know me well, yes, I absolutely bought Cheez-Its. I couldn’t be more excited to share this book, these poems with you, especially at a time when we aren’t able to be close, to share a stage at a venue or a reading. When you visit the pre-order page, check out some advance praise for the book (from some poetry heroes of mine!), which is kinda fun. The book will be distributed by Small Press Distribution, and will be available to order from your local bookstore (as well, of course, from all the various online enterprises).

I hope this book finds you and that I get to see you at a virtual reading in the coming months, and beyond that for in-person shows and readings when they return. Oh, and some fun news forthcoming re: album #7, which I’m currently at work on with Daniel Johnson, Charlie Koltak, and Rodrigo Palma. Stay safe and well out there. All the art and life we can muster for good.

love you in the songs & poems. cameron.
