Cameron at Get Lit! Festival & Spokane Public Radio + new songs!

Hi, everyone,
I hope you and yours are staying healthy and well. Wanted to let you know about a few creative happenings I have this week. I recorded a poetry and songwriting discussion with fellow poet and musician Jason Graham (aka MOsley WOtta) for this week’s Get Lit! Festival 2021 in Spokane, WA. It airs tonight, April 13 at 5:30pm PDT. Tune in here! You can watch the recorded events after their airing as well. Big thanks to Kate Peterson and Claire Walla at Get Lit! Festival for having us join.

NEW BOOK! Last week, Spokane Public Radio’s The Bookshelf ran a Get Lit! preview featuring a few of my poems. Check out minute 19:20-23:20 for some poems from my chapbook Meridians as well as from my debut poetry collection, In the Night Fieldwhich is now available for Pre-Order from Augury Books, an imprint of Brooklyn Arts Press. The book’s official publication date is set for June 1, 2021. Pre-orders will ship in May!

NEW SONGS! We’re now mixing album #7, which I’ve been working on over the past few years with Rodrigo Palma, Charlie Koltak, and Daniel Johnson, who is producing. We recorded it in Chicago at Shirk Studios with Neil Strauch and Stephen Shirk. I played a few of the new songs (as well as a Pavement cover & a few songs from Gallows Etiquette) this week on FB live as part of the Champaign-Urbana Open Mic. You can find the video here.

If you haven’t stopped by in awhile, we have a new website courtesy of Andy Whorehall with links to all the albums and lyrics. More coming soon…

love you in the songs & poems. cameron
